DESCRIPTION. Matrix Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Transport Co-ordinator for their well established Irish indigenous food production company based in Co. Longford. This is a permanent position based in the midlands. The Transport Co-Coordinator will be responsible for the scheduling of transport requirements. You will work as part of a team and report to the Warehouse Manager. Ensure collections and deliveries are achieved in line with customer requirements. Ensure bookings with hauliers and customers are in line with requirements. Generating and controlling of customer documentation. Monitor and report stock issues. Responsible for customer service levels with planning. Monitor the production schedule to ensure stock is available. Ensuring strong communications within the transport networks and customers (internal & external. Produce and generate daily/weekly management reports. Responsible for daily monitoring of orders and deliveries. Ensuring stock levels are monitored and reported. Qualification/Experience. Must be APICS qualified with diploma/leaving cert and with at least 2 years experience within a transport related role. Have excellent attention to details and communication skills. Be ambitious and willing to work in a fast-paced environment. Required to have the ability to analyse data, fault finding and problem solve. Excellent knowledge of systems with strong I.T. skills.
