Our clientis committed to helping you reach your professional and personal goals. The Role. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned: Responsible for the hands on running and maintenance of plant, utilities and equipment. They will be responsible for maximising availability of FUE. Conduct business in a manner that will protect human health, safety and the environment by complying with all applicable EHS laws, as well at the Abbott Global and Technical standards. Perform day-to-day preventative and demand maintenance as required. Liaison and coordination of external contractors to complete required maintenance or breakdown service. Hands on role at trouble shooting/faultfinding and maintaining equipment and plant related items to ensure the proper operation and service of equipment and utilities to plant standards. Develop a detailed understanding of all clean room HVAC, equipment, and utilities to troubleshoot and resolve problems. Resolve technical issues in an effective & timely manner to support operations. Ensuring equipment/systems meets the required legal, divisional and corporate standards. Ensuring safety standards are met and safe-working practices adhered to. Communicate effectively with plant management, corporate and division engineering. Position will be responsible to operate all engineering functions in line with the plant quality policy with minimum supervision. Person Specification. Competent and capable of servicing all HVAC and Boiler house equipment, Must appreciate the importance of taking ownership of certain functions as allocated to the role. Must be physically fit as this can be a demanding role. Computer literate. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Customer focused. Team Player demonstrating flexibility. Qualifications and Experience: Refrigeration Craft qualification (F-GAS C&G 2009 CAT 1. Formal training / certification in servicing split a/c, Air handling plants Full driving license. Safepass. Experience in maintaining and servicing large chillers installations / large Air Handling plants. A solid knowledge of AHU, ventilation ancillaries and relevant controls a must. GID gas qualifications. An RGI qualification and a proven track record in the service and maintenance of oil and gas boilers from domestic to commercial would be advantageous. Minimum 5years post apprenticeship. Previous experience working in a building services maintenance role. Scope of works will also encompass works on wet systems, LPHW and CHW, therefor a strong knowledge of plumbing and fitting is a pre-requisite. This job originally appeared on RecruitIreland.com.
