Matrix Recruitment is currently recruiting a Cost Accountant for Manufacturing company in North West. This a permanent position and you will be reporting into the Financial Controller . Salary: Negotiable. The position will include the following responsibilities. Maintain the standard cost system for current and new products. New Product Costing . Develop Profitability reports on customers and products . Calculation of standards at Annual Budgets and Forecasts . Calculation of Operating Standards with Manufacturing . Advise management on costs effects and pricing on special orders. Ensure all controls are implemented and adhered to. Capital Expenditure Reporting. Assist in month end close of the General Ledger. Assist with the preparation of Statutory Accounts. Assist with the preparation of annual budget and forecasts. Work on Lean Projects . Requirements: Qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA 2-3 post qualification experience with minimum of 3 years costing experience in a manufacturing company. Excellent organisational and communication skills. Experience with excel and ERP systems . Ability to work within a team and on own initiative.
