A vacancy is available in the QA department in Pat the Baker as a QA checker. The role will involve shift work and will report to the QA Manager. The responsibilities will include but are not limited to below; (1) Assessing the quality parameters of the product. (2) Ensuring the good manufacturing practices are being adhered to. (3) Checking that all controls are being done in adherence with standard operating procedures. (4) Reporting of non conformances. (5) Checking batch traceability procedures and documentation. (6) Ensuring that daily reports are checked, circulated and filed in a timely fashion. (7) Shelf life testing. (8) Glass / Perspex audits. (9) Daily calibration checks. (10)Housekeeping and hygiene checks. (11)Completion of internal audits. (12)Ensuring that CCPs are in control. Experience / qualifications: Fluent written and spoken English. Good communication skills. Good organisation skill with attention to detail. Excellent computer skills. Familiarity with a food manufacturing environment.
