Warehouse Supervisor. Role Type: Permanent. Role Location: Longford. My client are the primary indigenous Irish Supply Chain Management company and specialise in Warehousing, Distribution, Cross Docking,Value Added Packing, Fulfilment and Account Management .You will be responsible for managing a team of up to 20 staff members and working across a two shift cycle, 5.45 am-2pm and 2pm-10.15pm. You need good supervisory skills,an ability to manage team and leadership would training would be a plus. Key Responsibilities: Implement a cross functional can do attitude to delivering customer service to all clients. • Coordinate and accurately record all movement of goods, raw material and other product's from location to location on site highlighting any issues that may arise. • Ensure highest level of safety and best practice while loading and unloading of goods. • Provide best in class support to the company effectively, timely and efficiently. • Efficient and effective use of your own initiative to further and promote safety and accurately. • Ensure all equipment in your charge is kept to the highest standards of safety and hygiene. • Ensure that all operators perform regular daily checks on all vehicles in your charge in order to ensure satisfactory compliance with the manufactures requirements oil, coolant levels and record and file all paperwork to prove this has been completed. • Ensure your work areas are maintained to highest standard of quality and safety in line with best practise in the industry. • Work as part of a team while displaying good personal initiative and encourage multitasking to optimise efficiency in the operation. • Achieve 100% accuracy of all customer paperwork internally and externally. • High degree of awareness and attention to detail of new ways of working. • Positive can do attitude towards work and supervising operations. • Very good time and attendance. • Have an exceptional level of communication skills. • Conscientious approach to all work place activity. • A working knowledge of Health & Safety regulations applying to the operational site and workplace equipment used in industry. • Be prepared to carry out specific projects when required.
