Our Client is seeking an experienced Bakery Expert with a passion and a creative flair for all bread related products. You will be considered as the company expert on products and will be an essential part of the team. Bakery Technologist responsibilities: Expert understanding of ingredients and processes the making of dough and bread. Analyse and evaluate the process performance of the plant in terms of product quality, process efficiency and reliability. Develop and implement manufacturing standards, improvements and savings for existing products and processes. Deliver a consistent flour and dough quality for the products made in the plant. Implement new products into the plant in partnership with Sales and NPD. Fulfilling the role as a troubleshooter. Managing and supporting internal production trials. Give training on processing, baking technologies and process improvements. Develop a capability as the flour, dough, baking and manufacturing processing expert for the plant. Bakery Technologist requirements: University or Institute of Technology degree in a technical, engineering or food technology discipline. Significant experience in industrial bakery manufacturing/processing is an advantage. Good IT skills- excel, word.
